Happy Saturday!
This card and frame are for my friend Stacey, her husband Brian, and their new little bundle of joy, Dylan.
I got the idea for the cradle card from Melanie’s blog. This card is super cute–it rocks like a cradle! You can view Mel’s card rocking here. I used lace rather than a scallop card stock border and added a Sizzix Teddy Bear. Besides the teddy bear looking cute, it balanced out the weight so the card rocked better.
The frame was so much fun to make. I got the idea for the frame from Anne. She owns the Compendium and I go there every summer when I am in Germany. The base of the frame is a 12 x 12 artist’s canvas that is decorated on the back side. The patterned papers are Bo Bunny. I cut Dylan’s name with a Colluzzle template. The teddy bears were made with a Sizzix die. The ones on the inside of the frame are card stock and I attached them with pop dots. The teddy bears on the outside border of the frame are sticky-back felt. How about that adorable onesie??? Lauren had the tutorial posted on her blog for a onsie card. I printed Dylan’s info on card stock using Word. I followed Lauren’s tutorial for the measurements, but my onesie is made with card board and card stock glued to both sides of it (it’s not a card). The little teddy bear on the onsie is a mini punch.
So, what do you think? Stacey was thrilled!
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time, happy crafting!
Note: I always buy sticky-back felt at Michael’s. I went to three Michael’s and one ACMoore looking for brown and/or tan sticky-back felt, and had no luck. I finally found brown at Joann’s. But, I will never buy their brand again. It is very flimsy compared to what Michael’s has.

I just have to try it myself. (But we don't have a babyshower any time soon…)
