Back in June an acquaintance asked Wolfgang if I would make a card for a wedding she and her husband would be attending. Of course Wolfgang said yes. And, of course I didn’t just make a simple card and stop at that.
So, the first picture shows the completed project. The template for the basket can be found on StampTV. All paper for this project is Bazzill card stock and Disney patterned paper. The narrow lace is from Joann’s. I used Word for the personalization. All the hearts were cut with a Sizzix die (it has four different sized hearts on one large die).
The second picture is the envelope. I cut the champagne glasses with a Sizzix die using mirrored card stock and added some crystal Stickles to the tops of the glasses.
The third picture shows the slider card open.
The fourth picture shows the back of the card. (Petra’s one request for the card was that there be room to include a check and write a personal message.) This is something I hadn’t done on a slider card before–added a back pocket. Inside the pocket I folded a plain piece of card stock so Petra could write her own message and add the check.
The last picture is of the bride and groom boxes that I filled with Hershey Kisses. I added a small flower eyelet to the groom’s lapel and ribbon around the bride’s waist. I purchased the bride and groom templates from PaperShapez.
Thanks for stopping by today.
