Happy Wednesday!
Last weekend I made Valentine banners for the inside of my front doors. Here’s a full view picture:
The shadows you may see are from the hearts hanging on the outside of the doors.
Here is a close-up of the left banner:
And, a close-up of the right banner:
I used the large scallop Sizzix die to cut the cardboard and card stock. The patterned paper medallions were made with 1 1/2 x 12 strips. The letters were cut with the Sizzix Lollipop dies. My number dies were no where to be found! I think I may have left them at my mother’s house. So, I printed the ’14’ in Word. The ribbon is pink with gold trim. I was already working on this project when my friend, Anne, gave me a bag of ribbon on Saturday. This particular ribbon looked perfect with the colors I was using.
Now, I have a question for you: Are they still called banners when they are vertical rather than horizontal? If not, what are they called?
Thanks for stopping by.

These are lovely. To answer your question I believe they are banners either way.

Whatever they are called…these are awesome! I would love to CASE these, but I think Muffy would want them for herself! I will file these away for next year. I know that I have said it before…but your projects are the best!
