This is a birthday gift for my niece, Amanda. She will be 18 in August and I can’t believe it! I purchased the Tote-ally Awesome Tote tutorial from Becky (Inking Idaho).
The first picture shows the front of the Tote. Becky’s instructions called for three pockets. I decided to make two pockets. I cut the card stock 3 3/4 x 4 3/4. It made both pockets 2 3/4 wide and they are now the same height as the back pocket.
The second picture shows the back of the tote and the third picture shows what I put in the pockets. The front left pocket holds a post-it note holder (I put DSP on the front and back of a piece of cardboard I cut from a cereal box) and the front right pocket holds four gift tags (I stamped the To/From on the back of the tags). The back pocket holds an address book. Yes, I made the address book! The inside pages were printed on copy paper using Word and I stamped the alphabet in the top corner of each page. The cover is card stock. I used the JustRite Small Alphabet set for the wording and the phone is from the retired SU Business Boosters set. Cute, isn’t it?!?!? I want to make one for myself!
The fourth and fifth pictures show the 12 monogrammed cards.
Paper used is SU Almost Amethyst, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Tea Party DSP, and Delicate Dots (SAB) DSP.
