Happy Saturday!
Over a year ago, Wolfgang asked me to make thank you gifts. Of course, I immediately set to work on crafting nine baskets for him. I finished them and took pictures before he handed them out. Then, when I wanted to make a blog post of them, I couldn’t find the pictures. I looked on my SD card as well as my computer and Wolfgang’s. No pictures! I thought I was going a little crazy as I distinctly remembered taking the pictures and editing them on my computer. Flash forward a year and what do I stumble upon? Yes, the pictures! They somehow were in a folder on my PC and the folder had nothing to do with crafting. OK, enough of my story. Let’s finally get on to seeing the baskets.
This picture is the front of the baskets:
I used retired DSP to embellish the simple 4×4 baskets, along with daisy, butterfly, and swirl dies. A big thank you to my friend Diana for loaning me her swirl die.
Here is a picture of the back of the baskets:
Ha ha, I just noticed I forgot to turn one of the baskets around.
A close-up of the front of one of the baskets:
There was a lot of die cutting involved, but the end result was worth it.
And, a close-up of the back of that basket:
The thank you sentiment is from the IBS Sun Ripened Pear stamp set.
Finally, a picture of how it looked filled with chocolates and packaged:
Wolfgang was happy with the thank you baskets, as were the recipients.
I have a backlog of cards and projects to post, so in the new year I hope to get back on track and blog more regularly again.
Happy New Year!

These baskets are cute, do you share your tutorial on how to make them? These would be perfect for V-Day!
