Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. Mine was hot and busy. Hot because the temperature in sunny Florida has been over 90 the past few days and busy because we have been working like crazy to close up the house for the summer. Yes, I’ll be heading to my mother’s house in NY on Wednesday!
The latest 3-D challenge at PCP is to create a matchbox sort of. The sort of part being that the cover should have a type of closure rather than the typical sliding wrapper. As I don’t have the matchbox die, I made my own box to fit my project.
I used SU Regal Rose and Rose Red card stock. The tea pot is a Great Impressions stamp. I stamped it on Shimmery White with Versafine Onyx Black and embossed with clear powder. The flowers were colored with various SU & Marvy markers, then I went over them with a glitter gel pen. I used the SU Scallop Border Trim punch and the flap is kept closed by tucking it behind the popped up tea pot.
The tea for two image is from a Hero Arts clear set. Inside the box are two wrapped tea bags and two wrapped Hershey Nuggets. A cute little tea for two gift.
Thanks for stopping by. Happy crafting!

Greet NY for me, will you? I miss that city and I actually can't wait welcoming you back in good old Germany.
