This is the Valentine card I made for Wolfgang. I guess you would call it a glitter globe card. The heart is a SU Sweet Treat cup. They are so adorable. I filled it with water and glitter and attached it to a piece of medium weight window sheet. Of course the picture is of Wolfgang & me. The little scallop border around the heard is from the new SU Scalloped Hearts of Heart embosslit die.
The card base is SU Pretty in Pink. I used Very Vanilla for the top half of the card and stamped the XOXO (from the retired SU Pictograms set) in Pretty in Pink. The bottom half of the card is a piece of the new Sending Love DSP. That DSP is so pretty I didn’t even want to cut into it and use it! I love the sparkle in it. Isn’t that scallop border pretty? It’s the SAB border punch. I used the new Pretty in Pink satin ribbon and layered it with the 1/4″ Pretty in Pink grosgrain ribbon.
Now for the inside of the card. The hearts were made with the new Heart embosslit and the heart punch. The ‘With Love’ is from last year’s SAB Yummy set. The Valentine sentiment is from the SU Hostess Level 1 Holiday Best set. I also added a strip of Very Vanilla punched with the new SAB border punch.

What a wonderful Valentine! I love that you used the cup to make a water dome and used a pic of you and Wolfgang with it! What a clever idea! I love the paper too. Anything sparkly gets my vote! Best,Curt

This card is beautiful Lisa! I love the layout (I'm a border punch junkie!). I don't know if I'd be brave enough to put water in the dome – but it looks awesome.
I see someone used her new supplies! Very, very nice! You're always just so creative! I really like the new border punch! You could also put hair gel in the sweet treat cup. I've seen it with the blue gel!
You really put a lot of thought into every detail of this card. And how wonderful that you personalized it with a photograph.
