Happy Monday!
I love the flower pot cards that I see a lot of crafters creating. When I saw the template Adela posted for a free-standing flower pot, I knew right away I wanted to make one for my mother for Mother’s Day. The template is available in PDF, SVG, and DXF formats.
After cutting the flower pot from SU Old Olive card stock, I sponged the edges with matching ink. The flowers were made with a SU Flower Embosslet, flower punch, and 1/4″ punch (all retired) using Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Real Red card stock. The Old Olive swirls were made with the Swirls Scribbles Sizzlet. The sentiment is from the Well Scripted set and the ribbon is Real Red Satin. I punched the butterfly from Bashful Blue card stock with an MS punch.
I attached the gift card with a removal glue dot.
The flower/for you image is from the retired Tagger’s Dozen set. I inked the flower with Pumpkin Pie, then used the Real Red marker on some of the petals and the wording.
Are you a member of Paper Craft Planet? If so, you will see that my Flower Pot was chosen as one of this week’s Shooting Stars!
Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!

LOVE your bright and cheery color combo. And what a great presentation of a gift card. I meant to try this last year at Mother's Day but never got around to it. I definitely have to do this within the next week so I can try this for my mom and mom-in-law for this year.
