So, what do you think of my inspiration for this week’s StampTV Color Challenge?
The colors this week are Barely Banana, Blush Blossom, and Certainly Celery. I was sitting in my kitchen yesterday wondering what to do with these colors when I looked at the light hanging over the table and the light bulb went on in my head! These are the colors of my kitchen light. The background of the light is a pale peach and the leaves of the flowers are a pretty light green.
The base of the card is Blush Blossom (it looks very pink in the picture, but it is BB). The flowers (SU Botanical Blooms) were stamped on Whisper White cardstock and the leaves on Certainly Celery. I used black pigment ink and clear embossing powder. The leaves were glued onto the card. After putting gold brads in the centers of the flowers, I adhered the flowers with medium glue dots. I decided to use this as a sympathy card since I need one to send to a neighbor. The sentiment (Michael’s $ bin) was stamped with Versafine Black Onyx on Barely Banana and matted on white. The corners were made with my SU Ticket Corner punch.
Thanks for stopping by.
