Happy Friday!
For my Inspired by Stamping post today, I am sharing an easy-to-emboss card using the
gorgeous new Flower of the

Have you ever been
intimidated by images that need to be colored? Today’s card shows you how to
create a simple, yet striking, card without coloring.

Let’s take a look:
Using black ink, I stamped
the single Poppy image, from the FOTM: Poppies stamp set, in the center of the angled piece of red
card stock and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next, I used a mask and
stamped the image on either side of the center flower. For a bit more
dimension, I stamped and fussy-cut another poppy, then adhered it in the center
with pop dots.

The embossed sentiment
really is quite striking on the white background. Nice and shiny IRL too!

Now for a look at the

Again, for the inside, I
embossed the image and sentiment, then added a scrap of the patterned paper
that I used on the front of the card.
