I hope everyone had a great Halloween.
The above picture is an update on Chloe and Katie’s Halloween gifts. I made pumpkin faces on the orange shopping bags. The letters for their names on the gift tags were stamped and then punched with my small pumpkin punch. There are pizzelles in the plastic Halloween bags.
I spent over two hours yesterday making a batch of pizzelles. I have been making them since I was a kid. They are actually very easy to make, just time consuming. I have two pizzelles irons–one which makes two larges pizzelles (I rarely use this one) and one which makes four small pizzelles. For the small pizzelles, I only put half a teaspoon of batter for each one. Now you know why it is so time consuming! But, they are delicious, so it is well worth it. Please let me know if you would like the recipe.
The girls were thrilled when I gave them their bags. One was dressed as a cheerleader and the other was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you visit again.
