I made this Reese’s Valentine Slider Box for my brother for Valentine’s Day. It holds two double packs of peanut butter cups. Perhaps a template/tutorial already exists for this, but I created my own.
Have you gotten the Martha Stewart scalloped Valentine punches yet? If not, I hope you can still find them. I got mine at Michael’s as soon as they came out. I absolutely love these punches! I have been using the scalloped heart for a couple of weeks already, but I just unpackaged the scalloped border punch last night to use for this project. All I can say is, “why didn’t I use this sooner?” Oh, I love this border. I also got the MS scalloped hearts stickers. They come red and pink in a pack. The scalloped heart punch layers beautifully in it. Did I mention how much I love these punches?!?!?
The Valentine paper is from the $1.00 spot at Target. The paper is very thin, but you can’t beat an eight-pack for $1.00, and the patterns are very pretty. Notice the little K in the middle of the heart? That’s K for Kevin. It’s stamped with SU Real Red and the K is from one of the $1.00 alphabet sets from Michael’s. I bought six different styles, upper and lower case. I like using these little letters for stamping on punches.
This box was so easy to make and only required tape on the four corners of the box and one strip for the slider cover. If you give this a try, make sure to use red line tape.
Thanks for stopping by today. Check back soon, I’m working on more Valentine projects.

This is such a great project! You remind me a lot of me coming up with stuff to cover candy. See below:
