Recessed Window Poinsettia Card - Lisa Eisner

Wow, I cannot believe Christmas is just days away! Where did the time go?!?!? Are you ready yet? I’m still getting there 🙂

I made this recessed window card for my mother. The card base is SU Old Olive. The patterned paper is called Santa’s Secret Garden from Imaginisce. It is doubled-sided and oh so pretty. The green side is glittery. I used Regal Rose and Rose Red for the poinsettias. I inked the edges with gold and spritzed them with SU’s new Champagne Shimmer Paint. I hope you can see the shimmer in the picture.

I lined the card with Regal Rose, stamped the sentiment ($1.00 stamp from M’s) in Rose Red, and punched the snowflakes with a MS punch.

Since I didn’t have an envelope for the card, I put it in a gift bag with a small gift. The bag is gold and I used punched snowflakes to decorate it. I found the poinsettia tissue paper in my wrapping stash.
