Happy Saturday!
When I received the SCS Weekly Inkling on Wednesday and saw the ‘Quilt’ tutorial, I thought it was so neat and definitely wanted to try it. Then, on Thursday, came the new PPA challenge, which is a vintage theme this week. I thought the ‘quilt’ would be perfect for the ‘Those were the days’ PPA challenge.
Creating ‘vintage’ is new to me and I finally used my distressing tool. The ‘quilt’ was quite easy to create.
Supplies used: Basic Black, Riding Hood Red, and Very Vanilla card stock, Country Living Holiday (retired) and Love Letter DSP, Tagger’s Dozen and Too Terrific Tags stamp sets (both retired), and self-adhesive pearls.
You probably cannot tell from the photo, but I spritzed the Very Vanilla layer, the black tag, and the black circle with alcohol/Champagne shimmer paint.
I really like how this card turned out and already plan to make another one when my Bliss set arrives.
Happy crafting!
Beautiful quilt effect!
This is gorgeous, Lisa. I love the colors. I saw this tutorial too gonna have to try it.
WOW!
Regina
