Happy Tuesday!
Today I have a cute (IMHO) little project to share with you. Now that my friend Cynthia is home from the hospital with her baby girl, I wanted to make something for her son. A couple of weeks ago I posted the favors I made for the baby shower and I wanted Teo’s little gift to be along the same lines. So, I came up with this tee shirt/shorts chocolate box:
Isn’t it cute?!?!? It is self-standing so Teo can keep it on a shelf or bureau in his room.
The tee shirt and shorts were created from card stock cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″. I went down 1 1/2″ and cut in 1/2″ for the arms. From there I cut down to the bottom corners. I used a 1 1/2″ circle punch for the neckline and 1 3/8″ for the neckline trim. For the legs, I just cut a V with scissors. The box was made for the size of the three little chocolate bars.
The striped paper is from the SU Petals & Paisley DSP (retired). I put a piece of Old Olive ribbon along the shorts to make it look like an elastic waist. The ‘I’m a big brother’ saying was stamped in Old Olive using the JRS Small Letter Set.
I’ll be entering this in the current Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge, which is to use Old Olive, So Saffron, and Tempting Turquoise.
Thanks for stopping by.

You are so clever. This is adorable. Check out this on the papertrey site–it looks like something you'd use–the little purse die.

Not only is this adorable and unique, it was so thoughtful for you to make for her "big brother". Often when the new babies arrive, the others kind of feel left out. What a great idea! Best, Curt
