Happy Thursday!
Today I have the honor of being a Guest Designer for Scrapping4fun Challenge #38 (thank you, Rachelle!). How did I get this honor? My vintage card I entered in Challenge #35 was chosen as a ‘featured’ card’ and I was invited to be a Guest Designer for today’s challenge!
The theme for Scrapping4fun’s Challenge #38 is Spring/Easter.
I created a center step card:
I stamped the focal image, I Love Paris by Stampendous, twice in a gray ink and fussy-cut the flowers/leaves for some dimension. After die-cutting the image, I lightly sponged while it was still in the die.
Click here if you need cutting/scoring directions for a center step card.
Now for a side view:
What says Spring like flowers and butterflies?!?!? Rolled roses and butterflies along with some ruffled ribbon add to the soft look of the card. Pistachio Pudding and Pink Pirouette make a pretty color combination.
As this card will be sent to a friend for her birthday, I finished off the back:
Now I have plenty of space to write a nice birthday message.
I hope you enjoyed my center step card. Hop on over to the Scrapping4fun Challenge Blog for more inspiration for Challenge #38. The challenge is open for two weeks so you have plenty of time to participate and link up your Spring and/or Easter creation.
Thanks for stopping by!
Congratulations on beeing guest designer.
What a wonderful card. Love the images you used. Maybe I can play along this time. I really need to start on working on some new projects. 🙂
Happy crafting to you

Quelle belle carte, Lisa ! Elle est magnifique (et moi aussi, j'aime Paris !).
Hi Lisa,
This is such a pretty card. I also received a beautiful birthday card from you that had pretty tan ribbon and sponging on the edges that gave the card so much depth.
Beautiful card, love the image.
Thank you for your lovely GD Creation.
Hugs
