Paper Garden Projects has been having a month-long Birthday Bash. Each week there is a different challenge and a different prize being offered. What did I do? I procrastinated and today did all four challenges! Now, wouldn’t it have been easier and less stressful to participate each week? Of course it would have, but I guess I like being under pressure.
Week one’s challenge was to create either a humorous birthday card or one using primary colors. I chose primary colors. I used the SU Argyle and Small Dots texture plates on the navy card stock. I added red with the ribbon and yellow with the square scalloped punch.
Week two’s challenge was to use a flower on a card or project. I stamped the background with a Judith flower stick. The flower on the tag was cut from Vellum with a Sizzix die and mounted on Magic Mesh. The ‘birthday wishes’ is from the SU Wow Flowers set. (This card would have qualified for week four too.)
Week three’s challenge was to create a thank you card. I punched the butterflies from the right and adhered them on the card with pop dots. The thank you stamp is also from the SU Wow Flowers set. I stamped it twice and cut the flower from one of the images and attached it with a pop dot to the main image.
Week four’s challenge was to use a stamped background on a card or project. I stamped two different size circles and a Judith asterick stick for the background. I also used the Judith stick for the background of the birthday sentiment.
Paper Garden Projects’ Birthday Bash ends on March 30, so there is still time to participate! For details, visit their blog.
Thanks for stopping by and have fun if you decide to join PGP’s Birthday Bash.
