Oh What a Night!

Happy Tuesday!


Oh what a night!  Saturday night I attended the very first SU Saleabration Customer Event.  It was held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.


First (and most exciting) I got to meet two of my long-time blogging friends! 


Here I am with Ann Schach (the Stampin’ Schach):

Ann lives in Iowa and is the Queen of Vintage and Pearls.  She left a dinner early so she could return to the Convention Center for us to meet!  I got to see a short video of Ann’s Boxers (The Twins, Brody and Muffy, and their little sister, Lexi).  Ann had a very early flight home Sunday so she did not stay for the evening event.  Thank you Ann for going out of your way to say hello.


Here I am with Kim Bolzenthal (Stitchin’ and Stampin’ on Paper):

Kim is from Wisconsin and we sat together at the evening event.  She introduced me to two of her SU friends (Carolee and Lisa) that attended Leadership with her.  Kim gave me a beautiful vintage tag, pretty emboss resist card, and SU shopping bag.  Thank you Kim for the gifts and for making me feel so comfortable at the event.

The presentations and demonstrations were fun and interesting.  I can now say I got to see Shelli stamp!


Now, what would a SU event be without Prize Patrol?!?!?  Yes, I won the last Prize Patrol of the night, which was, appropriately, Ciao, Baby!

There were display boards in the lobby with lots of samples that demonstrators made.  There were also display boards showcasing all the new products in the Mini Catalog.  As there were a lot of people looking at the displays, it was not easy to take pictures.  I did have to snap a shot of the adorable Dress Framelits:

Also, a big thanks to Wolfgang for going to Orlando with me.  The noise and excitement of hundreds of (mostly) women were too much for him.  He spent the evening in the lobby with another lost husband.
