Happy Friday!
This week’s OCL challenge is to create a clean and simple card with a holiday theme.
I made a scallop oval gate fold card:
The card base is Real Red (5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 2 1/8 on both ends) and the patterned paper is from the Season’s Greetings collection by Echo Park. Both ovals are Naturals White and the inside scalloped oval is Old Olive. I love how this card opens!
The image (colored with a blender pen using Always Artichoke, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, & Real Red) and sentiment (stamped in Real Red) are from the OCL Happy Holly-days clear stamp set. How fun is that sentiment?!?!? I went over the berries and ribbons with the Sakura glitter pen. Even clean and simple deserves a little sparkle!
Would you like to play along in this week’s OCL challenge? Of course you would! You have until Thu., Dec. 15 @ 11:59 PM to link your CAS holiday card. As a reminder, OCL stamps are not required to participate, but you get extra points for using them. Each month, one random participant will be chosen to win an OCL stamp set of their choice!
