Happy Friday!
This week’s challenge at the OCL blog is to create a tag. I made a keepsake tag that can be used as an ornament too. How fun is that?!?!?
So, you ask, how did I create this beauty?!?!? I started by printing the MTME sled template at 66% and using Brushed Gold CS. I then covered the top of the sled with snowflake paper by Echo Park. The poinsettia image is from the OCL Happy Holly-days clear stamp set and was stamped three times on Very Vanilla and embossed with Gold. The three flowers were snipped and popped on top of each other. There are two layers of Always Artichoke leaves and one flower center of Brushed Gold. The Happy Holidays sentiment is from the OCL Merry Wishes clear stamp set and the To: & From: are from the OCL Jolly Ornaments clear stamp set. All edges were sponged with Versafine Toffee ink. A little SU Victoria crochet trim, gold ribbon, snowflakes, and brads finish the embellishing.
I hope you are inspired to create a tag for this week’s OCL94 challenge. As a reminder, OCL stamps are not required to participate, but you get extra points for using them. Each month, one random participant will be chosen to win an OCL stamp set of their choice! You have until Thu., Dec. 8 @ 11:59 PM to link your card or project for this week’s challenge.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you can visit again tomorrow for another tag post.
What an amazing tag! This is stunning and super creative. This is certainly an inspiration for me to create some more tags. Thanks for sharing this! Best, Curt
Definitely one of the prettiest tags ever! I have that poinsettia stamp & forgot about it! I love how you've embossed in gold on the cardstock- it looks fabulous! Hugs~
I love it. What a wonderful tag. Guess I have to get creative now to make one, too.
Wow, Lisa! This is stunning! Someone will LOVE finding this on their package at Christmas. This is definitely the type of tag that will be passed on year after year!
WOW!!! This is awesome and would make a fabulous ornament as well!
Lisa, diesen Beitrag hatte ich doch ganz übersehen!
Der Schlitten ist sooooooooooo süß und sieht total winterlich aus! Wunderschön, wie du den Schlitten mit dem Christstern geschmückt hast!
