Happy Friday!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. And, if you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you had a very enjoyable (and crafty!) Thursday. My Thanksgiving was wonderful and crafty–we went out to eat and made a stop at M’s!
Today’s card is for Our Craft Lounge’s weekly challenge. This week’s theme is cute critters. I made a Christmas shaker card using the adorable OCL Sea-sons Greetings clear stamp set.
The card base is 5 x 5 (Real Red CS). The shaker globe is recycled plastic packaging from a roll of red line tape. Filling it with craft sand rather than snow put a ‘sea’sonal twist to the card. The images were stamped on water color paper and colored using a blender pen and markers. I put some Sugar Sparkly Fluff on the pom-pom and trim of the hat.
This card will be going to my brother and nieces (they love turtles, fish, snakes, etc.).
I hope you are inspired to create a ‘cute critters’ card or project for this week’s OCL93 challenge.
As a reminder, OCL stamps are not required to participate, but you get extra points for using them. Each month, one random participant will be chosen to win an OCL stamp set of their choice! You have until Thu., Dec. 1 @ 11:59 PM to link your card or project for this week’s challenge.
FYI: Our Craft Lounge is having their first-ever Black Friday sale! Here are the details:
25% off store-wide (excluding gift certificates) through Monday, Nov. 28
Coupon code required at check-out – OCLBLK25

What a lovely card. That image is too cute, really. ( did I get it right that critters are small cute animals?)
maybe I try a card like that myself…

Hi Lisa, this is so cute. What a great idea to recycle the red line tape roll! I really like the sand instead of glitter. It looks like it shakes so prettily (is that a word, lol) and not stick to the image and plastic like the glitter does.
