Happy Friday!
Today is my first post for my two-month Design Team term with Our Craft Lounge. This week’s challenge, OCL90, is to distress your card/project. For my card, I used the OCL Crafty Cling Rubber Single, Fall Scarecrow. This set includes one large image and two sentiments.
I stamped the scarecrow on Very Vanilla with Staz-On Timber Brown. The face, straw, and post were colored with markers and the clothing (Bazzill CS & SU DSP) was paper-pieced. The card base is Dusty Durango, the striped paper is from a holiday paper stack, and I added a layer of burlap. I used the distressing tool on all the layers and sponged with Versafine Vintage Sepia. The sentiment was also stamped with Timber Brown.
Please visit the OCL Blog for all the details on this week’s challenge. I hope you get a chance to play along. OCL stamps are not required, but you get extra points for using them. You have until Thu., 11/10 @ 11:59 PM to link your entry on the OCL blog. You may enter as many times as you like. Each month one random participant is chosen to win an OCL stamp set of their choice.
Happy crafting & distressing!

Congratulations on the new DT, how fun! This card is so cute. I stear away from paper peicing because it looks so hard and alot of work, lol. You did a wonderful job on this, so cute. The burlap looks fabulous, just perfect with the image.
