Today’s posting is the album I made for my Princess House manager and friend, Linda. She celebrated a ‘big’ birthday last month. As I wasn’t able to attend her surprise party (it was the weekend of my grandmother’s wake), I am not in any of the pictures.
‘Linda’ is spelled out in the flowers on the front cover. I used one of the small $1.00 alphabet sets from Michael’s. The flower is a retired SU punch and the butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch. On the back of the ‘L’, the Happy Birthday circle and flower were made with the SU Wow Flowers set and the 5-petal punch. The gift tag is a Sizzix die. I reduced the invitation for the next page and the flowers are vellum using a MS punch. The birthday cake on the bottom of the back of the ‘I’ and the scalloped heart on the ‘N’ are also MS punches. The other hearts are Sizzzix. The heart corner punch and the flower corner punch (back of ‘N’ page) are Paper Shapers. If you click on the ‘N/D’ picture for a larger view, you will be able to see I spelled out ‘sisters’ and ‘family’ in the small flowers. By the way, I got both of those small flower punches at Michael’s (I have had them a long time and don’t recall the makes). The tag and ticket corners are SU punches. The green ‘Friends’ is Sizzix and the ‘Birthday Wishes’ is also from the SU Wow Flowers set. All of the paper is from Michael’s. I choose the colors and flower theme to coordinate with the invitation.
Name albums are very easy to create. The instructions are in my prior post here:
Also, here is one I made for Christmas:
Thanks for stopping by and until next time, Happy Crafting!
