What can I say, I’m a masochist! I decided the Christmas Through a Window card I posted here was so cute, I would make some more.
I can admit that I got smarter the second time around. Instead of scoring and embossing the fireplace grout, I just drew lines with the white gel pen. Boy, that was a lot easier and neater looking. I also decided the stockings should have names on them and the centers of the poinsettias should have gold stickles.
So, the first card is for my brother Richard and my two nieces (and of course their adorable Jack Russell Terrier, Petey). Isn’t that bone eyelet cute? I used Almost Amethyst and made their card 5 x 7 as I needed a larger fireplace to accomodate the three stockings. I also used the larger Sizzix Tree die.
The second card is for my bother Kevin. Suds is his cat. I used Sage Shadow for the card base.
So, of course since these cards came out nicer than the original, I will be making a new one for Wolfgang! I think I’ll use Sage Shadow for his too. I’ll keep you posted on it!
Thanks for stopping by today.

You put such a lot of work into these not only with all the details but personalizing them too. Wow! I'm sure these will be very appreciated.
