March Thank You Cards – Clipboard

Happy Wednesday!

Today’s card is what my customers received as a thank you for placing an on-line order during the month of March. 

Here is March’s masterpiece:

I used the Bloomin’ Love and Picture Perfect stamp sets, both of which will carry over to the new Annual Catalog!


Isn’t that little clipboard just the cutest?!?!? The ‘clipboard’ measures 2 1/4 by 2 1/2. After rounding the edges of the Crumb Cake CS, they were sponged with Crumb Cake Ink. The ‘speckles’ is a stamp from Gorgeous Grunge (a must-have stamp set!). The strips of Silver Foil Sheet measure 1 1/4 wide and I scored the bottom 1/4.

To create this card, I started with a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Blushing Bride CS, scored at 5 1/2. I glued a piece of Whisper White CS (a hair shy of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2) to the inside and used the File Tabs Edgelit (retiring next week) to cut the top to resemble a folder. Once you run the card through your BigShot, you will need to take your scissors and snip the corner (at the fold) and you will also need to use your paper trimmer to cut the front of the card to the height of the inside, then round the two corners.


Once I was finished making my customers’ thank you cards, I decided to make an alternate color version for my blog friend Ann’s birthday:

It is the same exact card, but done in Crumb Cake.
