Happy Monday!
Today is my first post as an official Late Night Stamper’s Challenge Blog Design Team Member! For the past three months I have been a guest designer, and I was asked to stay on as a permanent team member!
This week’s challenge is ‘Say Goodbye to Your Favorite Retiring Colors.’ I have quite a few favorites that are retiring…Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, and Pretty in Pink are at the top of the list. For today’s challenge I chose Pretty in Pink and Rose Red (they look so pretty together). I also used one of my favorite retiring stamp sets, Elements of Style.
I first stamped the image on White CS using Black ink and colored the leaves with Always Artichoke and Certainly Celery markers. The image was then stamped on Pretty in Pink CS with Rose Red ink. I fussy-cut the flowers and attached them with dimensionals. The embossed layer was brayered with Pretty in Pink ink.
Supplies used: Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, and White CS, Black, Pretty in Pink, and Rose Red Ink, Always Artichoke and Certainly Celery Markers, Pearls, Framed Tulips EF, Top Note Die, and Elements of Style Stamp Set.
What’s your favorite retiring color? Click on over to the Late Night Stamper’s Challenge Blog to see each of the Design Team Member’s favorite and to get all the details on linking your favorite retiring color card, scrapbook page, or 3D project. You have a full week to participate in the challenge.
Thanks for stopping by!

I am sad to see these colors go away, too! You've made a gorgeous creation with them!
Wow Lisa! Beautiful card in time for Mother's Day! I think my favorites are bashful blue & Baja breeze. 🙁 bashful blue is my go-to baby boy color so now I'll have to look for another to replace it ( once I finish all the cardstock I've hoarded!) hugs~
What a great Card. The Colors look great.
The pearls make it very elegant.
Congrats on beeing on the Desing Team now. You are just so talented.
Beautiful card!! And congratulations on being on the design team!!
Really beautiful card Lisa.
Beautiful card. I love the pinks.
Hey chick! Congrats on the DT position! This card is GORGEOUS! and they are blessed to have you on their team. Well we can't put the bird stuff in the back yard because of the cat. He's too lazy to go over the privacy fence so that's why we have it there. But my daughter is moving in the fall and that cat is going with her!! Woowhooo!
hallo, liebe Lisa
BOAH!
Regina
