I made this St. Patrick’s Day basket with two layers Reese’s peanut butter cup ‘sandwiches’ inside.
For the basket I cut Bazzill Guacamole cardstock 7″ x 7″ and scored it at 2″ all around. I cut along the score lines on two opposing sides and adhered with red line tape. The handle is cut at 12″ long by 1 1/4″ wide for the card stock and 1″ wide for the patterned paper. I attached the handle with a brad on each side to ensure it would hold with the weight of the chocolate. The patterned paper is from Michael’s.
I originally saw the leprechaun and pot of gold on SCS and followed the link to Samantha’s blog. She has quite a lot of punch pals featured. They are just adorable.
For the Reese’s sandwiches I used two different Studio G clear $1.00 sets. I stamped with Versafine Onyx and Olympia Green on SU WW cardstock. The images were colored with markers and pencils. I used Liquid Applique for the beer foam and cloud. Also, I covered the beer mug with Crystal Effects to give it a ‘wet’ look and there is a bit of gold Stickles on the pot of gold. Punches used were SU scallop and circles.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope the luck ‘o the Irish is with you.
