Did you think I disappeared? I know, I have been a bad blogger lately. Since I got back to NY I have been quite busy doing things with my family. I even had family from FL visit last week. How funny is that–they are 30 minutes from me in FL and we see each other in NY?!?!? Anyway, I am now getting back into the swing of ‘crafting’ and will try to post at least twice a week.
Today I made the above 8×8 scrapbook page for Jennifer Buck’s weekly CASSB sketch challenge. The base of the page is Festive Orange layered with Charcoal Black. Both card stocks are from Michael’s. The candy corn patterned paper is a free download. I printed the title in Word using the Accent font. The stamped ‘Happy Halloween’ image is a Studio G stamp, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black and the pumpkin was colored with pencils. I used SU round punches and the round scallop punch. The jack-o-lanterns and the pumpkin border are both MS punches. These two punches are really neat–they punch and emboss. I put yellow card stock behind the jack-o-lanterns and black behind the border. Oh, and the picture is my niece Samantha and me! She was a bumble bee and I have on my favorite Halloween cardigan.
Thanks for stopping by and for sticking with me during my blogging absence.
Until next time, happy crafting!
Lisa
