Welcome to my Inspired by Stamping Sunday IBSIC Feature.

My card today is for IBSIC 97. On the 15th of each month, a new IBSIC is posted. You may follow the Color, Sketch, and/or Theme. One randomly chosen participant will receive a $25 GC to the Inspired by Stamping Store!


Here are the inspirations for IBSIC 97:

My card is based on the Colors:

I love this month’s soft colors and sparkly gold inspiration. The Sweet Friend sentiment, from the Beautiful Iris stamp set (one of my favorites!), was stamped and die-cut it with the middle die, from Fancy Label Dies 2, then lightly sponged before being removed from the die. The matting layer was die-cut with the second largest die from Fancy Label Dies 2. I also sponged around the doily and assembled the matted die cuts over it. A strip of pretty paper (great way to use up scraps!) from the Vintage Floral Paper Pad was added. A few sparkly gold butterflies go along the with butterfly-embossed background.
