Happy Wednesday!
For my Inspired by Stamping post today, I have a card and gift idea in one! Today’s card is for a friend who has been a
bit down lately and I want to send her a little something to cheer her up. As I
don’t want to send chocolates through the mail this time of year, I thought
including a bookmark would be a perfect little gift. So, I pulled out my Big Wonderful and Teeny Tiny
Greetings stamp sets and got busy.

Here is a look at the card
with the bookmark:

I used the largest of the Fancy Label Dies 1 to
die cut the pocket to hold the bookmark. It is adhered with dimensionals so the
bookmark can easily slip in. After stamping the sentiment, from Big Wonderful, I die-cut it with the second largest die and lightly
sponged it. I added the doily as it looks pretty with the paper I chose from
the Vintage Floral
paper pad.

The how-to on creating the
bookmark:
bookmark:
The card stock was cut at
2 1/16 x 4 1/2 and the patterned paper, from the Vintage Floral
paper pad, was cut at 1 9/16 x 4. The
width is important as the pieces need to slide into the smallest and second
smallest dies. The bookmarks can be any length. Once you have the paper in the
dies, roll it through your machine just until it cuts, and then roll it back
out. Do not roll all the way through as you will get the impression from the
die on your paper.

One more look at the card:
Not sure if it shows good
in the photo, but the sequins are iridescent green and purple.
