Happy Sunday!
This week’s IBS WHW tutorial is all about decorating buttons. Colleen has a step-by-step pictorial on how to create your own custom buttons. This is a totally new technique for me.
Here is a picture of the buttons I started with:
To create my buttons, I stamped with Wisteria Wonder on So Saffron CS using the text part of the large stamp from Fresh Cuts. I used 1/2, 3/8, and 3/4 inch punches and sanded the edges after the circles dried on the buttons.
This was a fun and easy technique that I will definitely be doing again.
Supplies used: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, White, and Wisteria Wonder CS, Pretty in Pink and Wisteria Wonder Ink, So Saffron Buttons, Wisteria Wonder Baker’s Twine, Circle Punches, Dizzix Daisies Die, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Framed Tulips EF, Swirls Sizzlet, Pearls, and Fresh Cuts and Season by Season Stamp Sets.
Thanks for stopping by!

Like usual a wonderful way. I wish I had the mojo to craft again. 🙂 All I did during the weekend wassewing a purse and dress. 🙂

Lisa, your buttons turned out great! Isn't it an easy way to dress up plain buttons? Love how you embellished the buttons with the big flowers, too. 😉
Thanks so much for playing along with my Whoo Hoo Wednesday challenge…it means a lot to me!
