Happy Friday!
Today on the Inspired by Stamping Blog we are featuring Christmas Decor. For my festive project, I used the Poinsettia
and Big Holidays
stamp sets. Take a peek at my light block:

This was my first time creating a light
block and I was so pleased with it that I will be making a few more for gifts!

Let’s take a closer look:
I started by cutting the vellum to size (6¼
x 6¼) and rounding the corners. The center poinsettia, from the Poinsettia
stamp set, was stamped in Versamark and embossing in Gold. Next, I masked the
poinsettia and stamped/embossed the other two on either side. The leaves were
embossed in green and the sentiment, from Big Holidays,
in red. I used a Blender Pen and Red Ink to color in the poinsettias.

To attach the vellum to the glass block, I
placed glue dots on the four corners, in the centers of the poinsettias, and on
the tip of the leaves where I wanted to place the ‘red berry.’ Once the vellum
was adhered, I added the rhinestones—they look pretty and they hide where the
glue dots were ‘shining through!’

I used a strand of 20 lights and tulle to
