Happy Sunday!
Welcome to the Inspired by Stamping Sunday Designer Feature. Today I have a vintage, monochromatic card using the new Winter Birds stamp set. Though this new stamp set was part of the October Holiday Release, I am showing how versatile the set can be beyond Holiday stamping.
Here is my card:
This new stamp set includes four images plus the names of the birds.
I first stamped the Chickadee image, from the new Winter Birds stamp set, fussy-cut around the end of his tail so it would hang over, die-cut the image, and lightly sponged while still in the die.
Three pieces of baker’s twine, knotted and roughly cut, seemed like the perfect accent with the stamped ticket from the Vintage Tickets stamp set.
I stamped the sentiment, from the Petite Banners stamp set, and used the coordinating banner die from Fancy Label Dies 3.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Ahoy, Matey stamp set. I used the small banner die from Fancy Label Dies 3.
I think this card could be used for a feminine or masculine birthday card. What do you think?
Please visit the Inspired by Stamping blog to get the full line-up of the designers being featured today. I’ll be back in two weeks with another Sunday Designer Feature.
