This week at the Inspired by Stamping Blog, the DT members are sharing
their favorite Inspired by Stamping stamp set.

For my Inspired by Stamping post today, I have a gift bag and tag set:
The beautiful iris image takes center stage
on the front of the gift bag. I used the coordinating Beautiful Iris Cut File
and shimmery card stock, then stamped and colored with alcohol markers. The two
largest dies from Fancy Label Dies 2
create the popped-up mat and some White Fabric Tape
decorates the top of the gift bag. You can see the seam binding from the tags
peeking out from inside the bag.

To create the gift bag, you will need a
piece of patterned paper cut at 9¾ x 6. Along the 9¾ side, score at 3¼, 4¾, 8,
and 9½, and along the 6 side, score at 1½. Cut along the bottom score lines up
to the 1½ score, and remove the ¼ tab. For the creases in the sides of the bag,
score down 4 inches in the center of the two 1½ sections, then score a V from
that point to the two bottom score marks. I hope that is clear! Now fold on all
score lines and assemble using adhesive along the ¼ flap and bottom tabs.
Finished size is 4½ H x 3¼ W x 1½ D. The ribbon for the handles was cut at 6
inches.

I first stamped the sentiments, all from Beautiful Iris,
then the irises. The seam binding, from the Spring Ribbon Collection,
was cut at 10 inches. I think the tags could also be used as book marks.
