There is a restaurant at the beach that I love going to when I am at my mother’s house in NY. As I liked the ‘Book of Love’ so much, I made a ‘Tropical’ version for my mother with pictures from last year. I left the last pages blank so I can add new pictures that we take there this year.
So, here is the front cover:
First page (the left picture is of the closed-in part of the restaurant–we always sit outside, the right picture is my mother and my brother Kevin, with me, of course):

Supplies used: Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, and Tempting Turquoise card stock, Hostess Pack, Island Oasis, and Sweet Pea DSP (all retired), Tropical Party (retired) and W Plus 9 Guiding Light stamp sets, Old Olive 1/4″ grosgrain ribbon, and rhinestones (girls’ day out has got to include some bling!). I created the title in Word and printed it in Old Olive using the RGB values.
