Happy Tuesday!
In April I posted this card and my good blog friend, Lisa, asked for a tutorial on stamping the rose. I apologize for the delay in posting the tutorial, but sometimes life gets in the way. Anyhoo, better late than never, right?!?!?
So, here goes:
I used the Picture Perfect stamp set, which is on page 22 of the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.
This is a multi-step stamp set and each step is numbered (hope you can see the number printed on the sheet next to each image stamp).
I used a Sharpie on the acrylic blocks to number the stamps for you. Note that the stamps have a notch on them so you can place each one in the same direction on your blocks.
Now, I don’t want to confuse you, but I find it easier to stamp in reverse order! For the first step, I stamped the #3 image with Melon Mambo.
For the second step, I again used Melon Mambo, but stamped off once.
Lastly, I used Pink Pirouette.
That’s all there is to stamping a ‘Picture Perfect rose!
Thanks for stopping by!
Supply list: Whisper White CS, Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette Ink, Acrylic Blocks, B, C, and D, and Picture Perfect Stamp Set
