Have you gotten the $1.00 chipboard albums at Michael’s yet? They have quite a few different shapes–heart, flower, scalloped square, star, and butterfly (I understand there are car and house shaped ones too, but I didn’t see them at my Michael’s). I bought a dozen of the heart, flower, and square ones. You get five chipboard shapes and the binder ring. Sure can’t beat the price!
Anyway, I made this album for Wolfgang for Valentine’s Day. It’s been raining for two days, so I finally just took the pictures inside today. The flash seems to ‘wash-out’ the vibrant colors and make the details hard to see. Also, I don’t know if you can make it out, but I put lace around the big heart on the cover. Here is my supply list:
Paper – K&Company Valentine stack / miscellaneous cardstock
Stamps – SU Alphahearts & Sweet Talk (both retired)
Studio G $1.00 lowercase alphabets
Punches – SU 1 1/4″ & 1 3/8″ circles, SU scallop, SU tag & ticket corners
EK Success inset corner adorner
MS scalloped heart & butterfly
small heart punch
Sizzix – four Heart die
Ink – SU Pink Passion & Mellow Moss
Memories Violet
Versafine Onyx Black
Ink It Up Metallic Silver & Ranger Silver embossing powder
Miscellaneous ribbon and sticker embellishments
Thanks for stopping by today. I would love to read your comments.
