Happy Friday!
Back in January I posted my Christmas Tea Set that I created for Flourishes’ Recycle & Reuse Christmas challenge. I was the lucky winner of that challenge and chose Christmas Classics for my prize. Actually, Wolfgang chose the set! I had whittled my decision down to three or four sets and showed them to Wolfgang. He loved the cardinal image in the Christmas Classics set, so that is what I picked. I now refer to it as ‘our stamp set.’
Flourishes’ February Christmas challenge was to create a pink/red/white card. Of course I had to use my new set!

The card base is Rosebud Metallic. The Northern Flurry embossed layer (sponged with Pretty in Pink) and inside layer are Arctic Snow. Both papers are by The Paper Company. The image was stamped and embossed on Naturals White, colored with markers, and layered on Real Red. I used a little pearl for his eye. The inside sentiment was stamped in Regal Rose.
hallo, Lisa
du fängst ja schon sehr früh mit Weihnachtskarten an!
Finde deine Farbauswahl ganz gut, es müssen ja nicht immer die traditionellen Farben sein.
Das Stempelmotiv ist wunderschön!
Liebe Grüße Regina
This is gorgeous, Lisa! I can see why you picked it as your card for this year. I would select Always Artichoke and use Cherry Cobbler! That would be a yummy combo!
So pretty! I don't follow the Flourishes blog so I didn't realize they did a Christmas challenge!!! I love the non-traditional pink!!! I am with Ann as far as Cherry Cobbler—I would probably use Old Olive or Always Artichoke too!
OMG Lisa is that beautiful and I would go with Almost Artichoke rather than garden green.
Oh so beautiful, Lisa!!! I love 'your' stamp set. I'm with Always Artichoke too. *smile* Only reason is I'm in the process of creating a card with it and have decided I love this color!!! Never thought I'd use it before today. Hugs,
beautiful Lisa! love the bg…stunning!
Hi Lisa, Congrats on winning! The image is lovely.
I love your card, it is a great idea to start the Christmas cards early. Is that chalk around the edges, I love how it turned out.
This is beautiful Lisa. . .I love how you call it "our set" now. So sweet. I'm not familiar with the colors from Stampin' Up so I can't make a judgement. But I know whatever you chose it will be stunning. Best, Curt
