Last week was very hectic–sorry I didn’t get to post.
This is a card I made for my brother’s graduation. His school colors are navy & gold. The base of the card is brushed gold cardstock. I embossed the graduation cap in gold, cut it out, and attached it with pop dots. The ‘lapels’ are held down with gold brads. I used ‘Word’ to print the ‘Congratulations Kevin!’ sentiment. I must say, I had to print it a few times before I got the ink color to match the cardstock. Yes, I could have used the ‘Congratulations’ stamp, but I wanted it to be personalized. I thought the finished card was very elegant, yet still masculine. By the way, I cased it from a sample in a retired SU catalog. Hope you like the finished product!
