Hi Everyone!
Did you think I disappeared? Actually, I had very sporadic internet the past week. It now seems to be working normally again!
So what have you been busy with? I have been busy with my niece’s upcoming high school graduation. I made these cute graduation cap nuggets as favors for her party.
I printed the saying in Word using the Adorable font. The caps were cut 1 1/2 x 1 1/2. The bands around the Hershey Nuggets were cut at 3/4 x 2 1/4. The school colors are, obviously, white and blue (btw, it’s the same school I graduated from!). I used Georgia Pacific white cardstock (from Walmart) and Shimmery Blue (from Michael’s). The ribbon (each piece cut at 3″), silver brads, and hour-glass shaped plastic bags are all from Michael’s. The Congratulations ribbon (each piece cut at 14″) is from The Dollar Tree and the shred is from the Christmas Tree Shop. What a deal on the shred–the bags are at least twice as big as the ones from The Dollar Tree and they were still only $1.00! Plus, they had a lot of pretty colors.
A little bit of shred and two caps in each bag make a cute favor. I originally was going to make bag toppers, but then decided tying the curling ribbon was a lot quicker.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you visit again to see the Graduation Party invites!
Until next time, happy crafting!
Lisa
