Happy Wednesday!
I have made two versions of the Christmas card I plan to send this year. I have used the new SU Fireside Christmas set which is available in the Holiday Mini. As soon as I saw this set I fell in love with it and knew I wanted it for this year’s cards.
Version 1 is done horizontally:
The ‘Merry Christmas’ on the inside is from the SU Four the Holidays set:
Version 2 is basically the same card, but done vertically and w/o the sentiment on the front:
Here is the inside:
I used Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive card stock and ink. The images are stamped on Very Vanilla. The Old Olive card stock is embossed with the Petals a Plenty embossing folder and the ribbon is Old Olive Satin.
.
So, do you like the horizontal or vertical version better? Or, should I make half my cards horizontal and the other half vertical?
.
Thanks for stopping by.

They are both great. But I think I like the horizontally a bit better.

Beautiful cards! Love them both, so do half and half. 🙂

These are both great designs. I really like your choice of embossing folder. I agree with Holly – make half and half.
Beth says
They are both gorgeous Lisa I would say go with half-n-half.

Lisa, deine Weihnachtskarten sind ganz zauberhaft geworden!
Klassisch in den schönen Weihnachtsfarben und der geprägte Hintergrund passt wunderbar dazu!
Liebe Grüße und ein schönes Wochenende – Regina

Lisa I like both of them but if I had to choose I would say I like the vertical one best.

Lisa these are beatiful. I love them both equally. I so love the insides, it gives them that extra touch. Hugs, Carla

I love this image, and I love the cards you made with it. I actually like the vertical one the best because the fireplace image seems more vertical. Either way, it is a great card. Best, Curt
