Hello and Happy Wednesday!
I have a few things to share with you today.
First up is my entry in this week’s StampTV Color Challenge. What, you haven’t heard of or joined StampTV yet?!?!? That’s OK, check it out here. The colors this week are pink, red, and black. I really didn’t know how to use pink and red together, so I decided to make the card base pink. The crab was stamped and embossed in black on watercolor paper. He was colored in with SU Real Red and I added a bit of pink to his eyes. The ‘birthday wishes’ is from the SU Wow Flowers set and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black. The ‘netting’ was cut from a bag that pearl onions came in (gotta love recycling, right!). The shells are from Impression Obsession, Inc. It’s a wood cube with four different shell images. I bought it a couple of years ago at a LSS that is no longer in business. By the way, this is also my first ever shaker card! So, what do you think?
Next up is the blog candy I recently won. Cathy (Ink It Up Stamp It Out) generously offered candy five days in a row and I was the lucky winner on Day 4. The candy package was the same each day except for the unmounted Dog Gone Stamp. Each winner received a different stamp. Cathy recently posted an adorable card she made with the stamp I won. By the way, this is the fourth time in less than a year that I have won blog candy. How lucky have I been?!?!?
On to some more blog candy news…Melissa (Creating From the Heart) is offering a great candy package. If you feel the Luck ‘o the Irish coming your way, visit her blog by the 17th and enter for a chance to win.
And, while we are on the subject of blog candy, next month is my first blogerversary so make sure you come back for my candy!
Thanks for stopping by today.

WOW, Lisa, congrats on winning the blog candy. I love the DGS, they are so cute and fun to color!
Your shaker card is absolutely adorable! It works for the green card challenge on SCS this week (I think it may have been today even) it is green as in recycle, LOL.
Hmm…red and pink are a funny combo, I agree, you did a fantastic job using them though!

Cute card! I like your idea of the netting.

I think you are very inventive to use pink and black together and not have any “love” or hearts themes like I would imagine most people would. I like your recycled net.

I love, love, love your card! And your creativity with the netting is just genius! I love that kind of creativity. Great detail! Best, Curt
