Happy Sunday Everyone!
I have been busy making some Easter projects. Today’s posting is a gift for my mother. I first saw this on Amy’s (Ustamp4Fun) blog. She has a downloadable tutorial posted. As I wanted a box that a gift card would fit in, I changed the box measurements as follows:
Cardstock cut at 4.6 x 5.14
Score all around at 1/2″
Score at 2.10 from both sides
The gift card fits in a little snuggly, but the box really could not be any bigger because of the size of the Top Note die.
I used SU So Saffron card stock and SAB Delicate Dots DSP, as was used in the original tutorial. The ribbon I used though is a white satin.
The ‘Happy Easter Mom’ was stamped with the JustRite small alphabet set in Versafine Onyx Black on SU Whisper White. The bunny w/heart is from a retired SU set. The stamp actually says ‘Stamped from the Heart’ on the top, but since I didn’t want that, I used a SU Basic Black marker to color just the bunny image. The ‘With Love’ (SU SAB ‘Yummy’ set) was stamped using Pretty in Pink.
Thanks for stopping by today and don’t forget to check out Raissa’s March Madness scrapbook challenge. You still have until tomorrow to send her your Spring scrapbook page.
