I made this ‘Cute As Buttons’ scrapbook page for Raissa’s (Raissa Stamps) Spring Scrapbook Challenge.
Why don’t you take the challenge too??? All you need to do is make a Spring themed scrapbook page using SU products and E-mail it Raissa by April 6 with a description of your technique. She will post the entries on her blog on the 7th. Her readers will vote on their favorites and on the 14th Raissa will announce the entry with the most votes. The winner of her challenge will receive a $25 SU gift certificate! How exciting is that?!?!? You can visit Raissa here to learn more about her challenge. While you are there, please take a few moments to check out the great projects she has posted.
Here’s the info on the page I created. The background is an 8×8 piece of SU So Saffron. The letters were cut from SU Certainly Celery using the Sizzix Lollipop (retired) font. The butterflies were punched from SU SAB Delicate Dots DSP using a Martha Stewart punch. The swirl in the right corner was stamped in SU Real Red using a stamp from last year’s SU SAB Friendship Blooms set. I put a rhinestone brad from the SU Pretties Kit in one of the flowers. To finish the page, I tied red raffia through two red buttons. The picture is of my nieces and the butterflies are real!
This challenge was so much fun that I think I will make a second entry!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to see your scrapbook pages posted on Raissa’s blog!

Very simple and super cute. I like how the buttons are part of your title.
