I combined this week’s Cupcake Inspiration Challenge with the Magical Monday Color Challenge. Rachel (Hope Stamps Eternal) posted these awesome cupcakes and I was drawn to the pumpkins and stars. Nina (There’s Magic in the Air) posted this adorable digi image along with a color challenge which was to use orange, black, and one other color. Being a bit pressed for time, I decided to combine the two challenges.
I colored the image with pencils and sponged green and grey ink around it to give it a slightly eerie look. The candy corn are from a $1 Michael’s stamp. I cut each one and attached them using pop dots. The frame on the front and the Boo on the inside are from a Sizzix die. The yellow, black, and orange are all Bazzill card stock. The patterned paper was in my stash from last Halloween. I thought with the trick or treat and stars it was perfect for these challenges.
