Creative Circle Design Team – Saying Goodbye (retiring favorite)

Welcome to my first Creative Circle Design Team Blog Hop post. I am excited to announce that I have joined Liz Holloway’s Creative Circle Design Team! Thank you Liz for having me on the team.


This month we are featuring retiring favorites. How is a girl to choose one retiring favorite?!?!? I chose two for my card, the Large Number Framelits and the Celebration Time Bundle (Celebration Time photopolymer stamp set and Celebration Thinlits).


So, let’s take a look:

The card base is Basic Black with a layer of Gold Foil followed by a Very Vanilla layer. I embossed the stamped image with gold embossing powder, die cut it with the coordinating framelit, and used dimensionals to adhere it. The Gold Glimmer numbers were also attached with dimensionals. I am thrilled the yummy Metallic-Edged Ribbons will carry over to the new 2018-2019 Catalog. An elegant card deserves an equally elegant envelope–the sentiment was also gold-embossed on the front of the envelope.


This card design could easily be replicated for an anniversary card by changing the sentiment. The Large Numbers Framelits are very versatile. I have used them for anniversary, birthday, and graduation cards, as well as birthday invitations.


Now a look at the inside:

I kept the inside clean and simple with an embossed sentiment.


Waste not, want not:

I used the negative from the die-cut 50 to decorate a treat bag.
