Happy Tuesday!
Today’s project was created for Flourishes‘ recycle and reuse Christmas challenge. I used two of the templates (Grab a Cup and Tea for You) that I chose with my gift certificate from MTME.
The challenge is to recycle and reuse something from Christmas. I recycled and reused a tray and tissue paper covered styrofoam that was part of a wine/cheese gift set.
The tea cup was very easy to assemble. The tea pot tried my patience a bit! Next time (after a respectable recovery period from this one) I would make the handle shorter. The sugar bowl holds a set of place cards (one is shown up front). I did not make a template for the sugar bowl, just measured the place cards and made it from that. The finished size of it is 3 1/8 x 2 x 2.
Supplies used: Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive (stems of poinsettias), Regal Rose (snowflakes), and Very Vanilla card stock, Imaginisce patterned paper, Cranberry Crisp ribbon (retired, coordinates fairly well with Cherry Cobbler), and Flourishes Christmas Tea stamp set. I put a dimensional between each layer of the poinsettias so they would stand high for the lid handles.
Thanks for stopping by.
