I am quite proud of myself–I have finished my Christmas cards already! That is a first. Isn’t the alligator stamp adorable?
I started with a plain white card (it is hard to see in the picture) and layered it with red cardstock. I used a blue for the sky and two layers of a speckled beige that I tore and dabbed with brown ink. I embossed the sun in gold on yellow cardstock and attached it with a large pop dot. The alligator was embossed in green and I colored him with two shades of green chalk. I used markers to color-in the light bulbs on the string of lights and the red in the santa hat. The ‘fur’ on the hat was done with Crystal Effects and glitter. I cut the gators (the paper snip scissors from Stampin’ Up sure come in handy) and attached them with mini glue dots. I thought the North Pole brads were a cute touch. The inside sentiment reads, a cool Yule. It seemed to flow nicely with the, Wishing you…
Thanks for stopping in today. I hope you liked my ‘Christmas Gator.’

You finished all your holiday cards in May! Wow. I like the non-traditional theme.
