Happy Saturday,
My friend Jean started a private Facebook group for creating Christmas Cards for 2019. This group is just for fun and each week a new theme will be posted. If you would like to join the group and play along, here is the link.
Week 1 theme is plaid–here is my card:
I love plaid for Christmas cards (and masculine cards). The card base is Thick Very Vanilla with a layer of Softly Falling embossed Very Vanilla. I used the tree die from In the Woods Framelits to cut a negative and placed a piece of plaid paper from Festive Farmhouse DSP in the tree opening. A strip of the same DSP is along the bottom along with a piece of Striped Burlap Trim.
The inside and coordinating envelope:
The sentiment, from Feathers and Frost, was stamped in Cherry Cobbler and I embossed the envelope flap with the Softly Falling EF.
Thanks for stopping by!
This is so beautiful, Lisa!! I love the plaid Christmas tree and the embossing!! Have a great day!! Big hugs 🙂

What a clever idea to highlight the cut-out of the Christmas tree using plaid paper! This is a wonderful Christmas card, Lisa, bravo!
