Wow, Pat (Rubber Maid) has received 1,600 Valentine’s Day cards from around the world. Are stampers great or what?!?!? Pat initially set out hoping to receive 1,000 cards. Since she has had such a phenomenal response, the additional Valentine’s Day cards she received will be donated to another pediatric hospital.
You can still send cards to Pat for the Childrens’ Hospital of Michigan. She is always looking for birthday, sympathy, and general well wishes. As a reminder, you can read about Pat’s quest and get her E-mail address here:
As I wanted to utilize some of the images Regina (The Cutting Cafe) so generously offered as blog candy, I made two birthday cards with cupcakes. The cupcake images, cupcake stand, and cupcake circle sentiment are all from her All About Cupcakes set. The cupcake ribbon is from Michael’s.
The other birthday card has a simple front made with Teddy Sizzix dies and Birthday Wishes sentiment from SU’s Wow Flowers set. The inside of the card has a pop-up Teddy holding a bunch of balloons. The balloons are attached to his hand with thread. The image folds flat when the card is closed, and pops-up when the card is opened. I’ll get these cards in the mail to Pat tomorrow.
There is a lot of blog candy being offered for participating in Pat’s challenge. The most recent offering is from Carolina (Carolina’s Creative Pad) for a Bind-It-All! You can check-out her blog here:
So, how about getting busy and filling Pat’s mailbox with birthday cards for the kids at Childrens’ Hospital of Michigan?!?!?
